A Real-ish Archaeological Dig at Yaqan Nukiy

The Middle Years students had a blast with their unit-end project - excavating a simulated archaeological site! Students spent the afternoon uncovering authentic-ish artifacts dating back 10,000 years-ish (- 9999). Practicing techniques and using tools from actual dig sites, students discovered flint flakes, bone tools and striking stones commonly used by the Ktunaxa people.
