The grade 2 class had an amazing time at the Creston Wetlands! The wonderful educators at the Discovery Centre took us on an engaging journey of using our senses as animal scientists. We used our deer ears to listen carefully to the sounds of nature, went on a "micro hike" to find interesting bugs, and dipped our nets in the very flooded marsh water (it may look like we're standing on a dock, but we're actually standing on one of the many walkway paths in the wetlands! That's how high the water was!)
