Ki'suk kyukyit - The grade 6 and 7's had the opportunity to visit the roundhouse and community sweatlodge, and hike up to Yaqan Nukiy ("Where the Rock Stands"), the namesake of our school community. Hosted by Chief Jason, students learned about the cultural importance of the site, the practice of vision quests, and also addressed the Red Dress Campaign for Missing and Murdered Aboriginal Women.
