The grade 2 class has gone on a few excursions and field trips this winter! Here are some pictures from our class outings from before and after the holidays.
Creston Museum
To finish off our unit on our Local Community, the grade 2s took a trip to the Creston Museum to learn about our areas farming history (and check out the cool old stuff, of course!)
Highlights included an apple packing relay, butter making, and a lesson in the old school house.
Wildsight Winter Wonder Visit
The class had a fantastic time exploring our school yard in winter to learn about how plants and animals change in the winter, and about what is going on in the world around us at winter time.
